Rules of the Library
The terms that govern your membership and use of ABC Study Library.

Membership
- A membership becomes active once your registration is approved and the applicable fee is received.
- Members are issued a unique member code and digital ID card which must be shown on request.
- Membership is personal and non-transferable. Sharing your digital ID with others is prohibited.
Seat & Attendance Policy
- You must check in at the front desk or via the portal each time you visit the library.
- Your seat remains reserved only while you are checked in. Leaving without check-out may count toward misuse of your membership.
- Reserved seats beyond the permitted duration may be reassigned to other members.
Books & Material
- Books are issued for a fixed period as shown on your portal. Return them on or before the due date to avoid penalties.
- Books requested are subject to availability and staff approval.
- Damaged or lost books will be billed to the responsible member at replacement cost.
Payments & Refunds
- Membership fees are payable in advance through the payment methods available in your portal.
- Fees are non-refundable unless specified otherwise in writing by the library management.
- Payments made via UPI / card are processed through secure third-party gateways; the library is not liable for gateway failures.
Code of Conduct
- Maintain silence in study zones and keep mobile phones on silent.
- Do not consume food inside the reading areas or disturb other members.
- The library reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership for repeated misconduct.
- Follow all safety and security instructions given by library staff.
Liability & Changes
- The library is not responsible for loss or damage to members' personal belongings.
- We may amend these terms from time to time; continued use of your membership means you accept the updated terms.
